Launch of new video at Pittodrie22nd September 2005


Aberdeen launch of the new video



Show Racism The Red Card launched the new Video and Education pack at Pittodrie with a panel of guests. The video, presented by Shereen Nanjiani, conveys a powerful anti-racist message through the medium of Scottish professional football.


Kemi Adebayo, Managing Director of MeAL (Multiethnic Aberdeen Limited) and Mr. L. A. Taylor of St. Machar Academy, both spoke at the event before the screening.


This was followed by a Question and Answer session with Barry Nicholson, Jamie Smith, Jamie Langfield (Aberdeen), Stuart Duff (Dundee United), David Robertson (Manager, Elgin City) & Kevin Fotheringham (St Johnstone).


The video is suitable for both primary and secondary schools and can be used by a wide range of organisations including youth workers, trade unions and the probation service.
