Racist fans sentenced

Robert McBride of Midlothian, Scotland, was fined £250 after he racially abused Hearts star Mark de Vries during a match against Glasgow Rangers at Ibrox. The punishment would have been much more sever had he not confessed to his shameful behaviour. However, his conviction may also result in a lifetime ban from Ibrox.
